Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field required; Bachelor of Science in an Engineering Discipline strongly preferred
  • Minimum of 2-3 years experience managing engineering projects
  • PMP Certification or equivalent experience
  • Ability to travel as needed
  • Advanced skill set in time management and task prioritization
  • Passion for managing teams and driving results
  • Ability to multitask and identify opportunities for process improvement
  • Capable of working independently and as a team member
  • Strong work ethic and unwavering integrity

Responsibilities

  • Deliver projects on time and within budget by executing work according to defined scope, schedule, and financial targets.
  • Communicate with clients and stakeholders to clarify requirements, set expectations, establish timelines, and maintain strong working relationships.
  • Coordinate with internal teams and external vendors to identify, secure, and manage the resources needed for successful project execution.
  • Develop comprehensive project plans, including execution strategy, objectives, schedules, and cost structures.
  • Track, measure, and report project performance for internal and external presentation.
  • Collaborate closely with suppliers and partner teams to ensure alignment, resolve issues, and support smooth project delivery.
  • Work onsite with the customer in Burnsville, MN for the duration of the project, transitioning to the Brooklyn Park, MN or other metro locations upon completion
  • Work collaboratively with suppliers and Applied partners across southern Minnesota
  • Contribute to projects that impact communities in Faribault, Northfield, Owatonna, Waseca, and the greater Twin Cities
