About The Position

Amphenol High Speed Products Group is the market leader for high speed, high bandwidth electrical connectors for the Telecom/Datacom market (Mobile Networks, Storage, Servers, Routers, Switches, etc.). Our products help to enable the electronics revolution and remain a key enabler for all the major Tier 1 OEMs globally. Our global headquarters are in Nashua, NH and we have design, sales and manufacturing locations globally. We are seeking an Engineering Project Manager to lead cross-functional initiatives within the Advanced Materials and Technology team. This individual will manage technology development projects from concept to validation, ensuring alignment with company strategy and successful handoff to product development teams. The role combines project management discipline, technical insight into advanced materials & processes, and cross-functional leadership.

Requirements

  • BA, BS, and/or PMP certification or an equivalent mix of education and experience
  • Experience working in a manufacturing environment
  • Strength in interpersonal communication and relationship development with internal and external resources
  • Organizational skills including attention to detail, multi-tasking, and record keeping
  • Working knowledge of MS Office, including MS Project
  • Initiative, motivation, ability to prioritize, ability to work with limited supervision
  • Confidence in being influential without direct reports in an international matrix organization

Responsibilities

  • Work with sponsors, stakeholders, SMEs, and functional area resources to define project scope, schedule, and budget.
  • Plan, execute, monitor, and control multiple projects in parallel.
  • Develop and maintain project plans and trackers, providing clear and timely status reporting.
  • Manage scope, schedule, cost, and risks (positive and negative) using structured project management methods.
  • Prepare capital appropriation requisitions (CAR) and track capital finance activities.
  • Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation, following ATCS NPI methodology and required artifacts.
  • Coordinate internal and external project resources, ensuring availability and alignment with project needs.
  • Manage stakeholder, sponsor, and team expectations, and engage effectively with all levels of management.
  • Travel to ATCS facilities, supplier sites, and other locations as needed (domestic and international)
