About The Position

As an Engineering Product Manager (PM) for a large portfolio of foundational product security services, you will shape Cisco's vision for resilient infrastructure and trustworthy technology. You will specifically drive Certificate Authority (CA) and Private PKI services to verify identities and secure transactions. This role offers the unique opportunity to manage the entire lifecycle of PKI services—from definition and planning through production and release serving as the central resource for design, quality, and marketing.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree with 6+ years of related security experience, OR Master’s degree with 4+ years of related experience..
  • Experience must include work with certificate authorities, identity management, and secure communications.
  • Demonstrated experience contributing to the development and deployment of public and/or private certificate authorities.
  • Proven knowledge and experience in designing and implementing CA and PKI solutions.

  • Extensive experience with technical ownership of securing internal communications systems, platforms, and solutions.
  • Demonstrated expertise in industry/market analysis, competitive positioning, and strategic thinking.
  • Proven success influencing product strategy and roadmaps across multiple complex solutions.

  • Advanced knowledge of Cisco products, networking technologies, and Foundational Security Technologies (FSTs).

Responsibilities

  • Build client relationships across multiple business units to drive strategic prioritization of adoption and onboarding processes.
  • Drive service vision and strategy by analyzing industry trends, competition, and internal client needs to shape a 12-18 month roadmap.
  • Capture and clarify client requirements to own and prioritize the service backlog, aligning roadmaps with client release plans.
  • Create and maintain technical documentation, training materials, and release announcements for CA and Private PKI technologies.
  • Serve as the domain expert to promote service offerings, identify growth opportunities across Cisco, and provide competitive analysis for new features.
