About The Position

We are seeking a dynamic leader to join our team as an Engineering Manager. This role is a key member of the plant leadership team and will be responsible for guiding and developing the manufacturing engineering team. The Engineering Manager ensures continuous process improvement, leads key projects, manages budgets, and provides technical expertise to deliver high-quality products to customers.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering.
• 7-10 years of relevant manufacturing experience.
• Prior management experience preferred.
• Strong work ethic, team orientation, and leadership skills.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and conflict resolution skills.
• Critical thinking and structured problem-solving abilities.
• Strategic planning and project management experience.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with strong attention to detail.
• Familiarity with ERP systems a plus.

Responsibilities

• Champion safety, quality, and continuous improvement as part of the plant leadership team.
• Lead engineering efforts in process design, process improvement, and equipment development.
• Manage and prioritize daily operations support, improvement initiatives, and structured problem-solving activities.
• Drive improvements in process capability, scrap reduction, cost savings, and downtime reduction.
• Act as project manager for growth and innovation initiatives, leading cross-functional teams.
• Communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders, including providing economic justifications.
• Oversee process change reviews, compliance, and formal approvals.
• Review and approve engineering cost estimates.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with peers, customers, and suppliers.
