About The Position

We’re looking for an experienced Engineering Manager to lead and grow a high-performing engineering team at an early-stage, product-driven software company. This role blends people leadership, technical direction, and cross-functional collaboration. You’ll help scale both the team and the product while maintaining a high bar for engineering quality.

Requirements

5+ years of experience in software engineering, including prior people-management experience
Strong technical background building and scaling web or backend systems
Experience leading teams in startup or high-growth environments
Ability to communicate technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
Comfortable operating in a remote, distributed team environment

Nice To Haves

Experience building or scaling SaaS products
Background working with cloud-native or distributed systems
Prior experience hiring and scaling engineering teams

Responsibilities

Lead, mentor, and support a team of software engineers, fostering growth and accountability
Partner closely with Product and Design to plan, scope, and deliver new features
Set technical direction and uphold best practices around code quality, testing, and system design
Balance hands-on technical involvement with people management and strategic planning
Drive execution in a fast-paced environment while managing trade-offs and priorities
Build a strong engineering culture focused on ownership, collaboration, and continuous improvement
