This is a hybrid role, requiring presence in our Dublin office in Park West at least three times per week. The Opportunity Our Recognition & Celebrations team is at the heart of how Workhuman helps our customers build and sustain cultures of gratitude. The team comprises multiple squads dedicated to designing and delivering innovative market leading solutions that enable our customers to spread a culture of recognition and celebration within their workplaces. We are looking for an experienced Engineering Manager to lead a Product engineering squad who are expanding and improving our Recognition & Celebrations solutions. You will join a group of peers with high levels of trust and respect, collaborating closely to build the high quality software that inspires our customers.   • Problem solving : You can analyse situations, diagnose problems, identify key issues and act decisively and promptly
  • Adaptability/Resilience : You have the ability and flexibility to embrace change and work with ambiguity, supporting others through the change process
  • Technical Accountability: You take ownership of your squad's technical capabilities, operational excellence, and code quality, ensuring the team maintains high engineering standards
  • Technical Foundation: You have 5+ years of hands-on software development or technological experience.
  • Experience with SaaS cloud-based platforms, Java & React or similar technologies would be advantageous
  • Achievements: You have experience leading a team of engineers, enabling them to achieve key business results through their design and software development activities in an agile development environment
  • You have confidently influenced and guided your team's execution aligned to product strategy across six-to-twelve-month time horizons
  • You have guided your team in proactively driving impactful outcomes in the face of significant organisational and technical ambiguity and change
  • You have led a product delivery team throughout the entire end to end product development life cycle
  • You cultivate an environment of accountability, trust and psychological safety where people are able to do their best work.
  • You have built world class teams and a culture for scale through hiring, developing and retaining talent.
  • You have led and contributed to cross-cutting initiatives that drive continuous improvement across Engineering.
  • You have driven the full-talent lifecycle for your team championing a culture of growth and development through extensive coaching
  • Experience with SaaS cloud-based platforms, Java & React or similar technologies would be advantageous
