The Ideal Tridon Group is seeking an Engineer Manager for our Foster Manufacturing Springfield, MO Plant. This role is responsible for leading and coordinating the activities of the Engineering, Maintenance, and Quality Control teams to ensure optimal performance, reliability, and compliance across all operations. The Engineer Manager plays a critical part in driving continuous improvement initiatives, overseeing capital expenditure planning and execution, and supporting new product development and machine design.

  • Lead and develop cross-functional teams in engineering, maintenance, and quality control.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on efficiency, reliability, and product quality.
  • Planning, budgeting, and implementing capital projects, including equipment upgrades and facility improvements.
  • Overseeing the design and development of new products and custom machinery to meet evolving business needs.
  • Ensuring effective maintenance strategies to maximize equipment uptime and longevity.
  • Maintaining and improving compliance with ISO 9001 standards, including documentation, audits, and corrective actions.
  • Manage product compliance with international regulations such as REACH, RoHS, and other applicable environmental and safety standards.
  • Provide technical sales support, including product specifications, application guidance, and customer-facing engineering expertise.
  • Champion a culture of safety, innovation, and accountability across all technical teams.
  • Collaborating with other departments to support operational goals and strategic initiatives.
  • Performs other duties as assigned by the VP of Operations.
  • 4-year degree in a technical-based field such as Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or related field.
  • 5+ years of progressive experience in engineering roles within an industrial manufacturing environment.
  • At least 2+ years in a managerial or leadership capacity preferred.
  • Proven track record of leading engineering projects from conception to completion.
  • Excellent communication skills, verbal, written and presentation.
  • Strong experience with measuring equipment including optical comparators, calipers, micrometers, depth gauges, thread gauges and other measuring devices.
  • Experience with fluid power systems, including air, steam and hydraulic systems.
  • Experience with ISO 9001, REACH, RoHS and other regulatory frameworks.
  • Travel is required. Estimated at 25% as needed to oversee and support engineering operations at two manufacturing sites in Boyertown, PA.
