About The Position

This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Engineering Manager – Solutions Engineering in US. In this role, you will lead and inspire a distributed team of software engineers building next-generation infrastructure-as-code and automation solutions. You will operate at the intersection of software development, cloud infrastructure, and operations, directly influencing how modern platforms are built and managed at scale. The position combines people leadership with hands-on technical contribution, offering a strong balance between strategic direction and execution. You will collaborate closely with global teams, working in a fully remote, international environment. The impact of your work will be highly visible, shaping both engineering culture and product quality. This role is ideal for a technically strong leader passionate about open-source, DevOps, and developing high-performing teams.

Requirements

  • Proven experience leading and developing software engineering teams in a remote or distributed environment.
  • Strong background in Python software development, with hands-on experience in automation and DevOps-oriented workflows.
  • Solid understanding of cloud computing concepts, Linux systems, and infrastructure operations.
  • Experience with modern infrastructure technologies such as Kubernetes and/or OpenStack.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • A people-first mindset, with a passion for coaching, mentoring, and continuous learning.

  • Bonus points for experience with large-scale, multi-cloud environments, operations-focused roles, or additional languages such as Go.
