We are looking for a Manager of Engineering to join our Scheduling engineering team. As a manager, you will partner with Product to drive the success and evolution of key areas of our entire product line.   • Drive planning and execution for scrum team, to deliver releases in alignment with organizational and product objectives
  • Maintain knowledge of product architecture, connective dependencies, technical concerns such as rollout strategies, performance and scalability to ensure the right decisions are made
  • Develop your team; provide regular feedback to help them learn and grow
  • Foster a culture of engineering best practices, collaboration, and continual improvement
  • Share the team vision and strategy to foster an understanding of the overall direction and the "why" behind decisions
  • Partner closely with Product Owner and User Experience Designer and other Engineering teams to align and accelerate engineering team
  • Assist Product Owners and TPMs to drive cross functional initiatives to successful completion
  • 3+ years leading teams in a technical environment
  • Experience in distributed systems, cloud-based architecture and highly-available systems
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as: C#, C++, Perl, Java, React.js and JavaScript/jQuery
  • Experience leading teams in an agile environment
  • Experience developing project plans and coordinating large development efforts across multiple disparate teams
  • Track record of growing your engineers and teams
  • Collaborative approach to driving best possible results and outcome for the customer
  • Understands development needs of the team and provides opportunities for growth and learning
  • Strong communication skills with a variety of audiences
  • Ability to consistently achieve results, even under tough circumstances
  • Follows through on commitments and owns the outcome; holding self and team accountable
  • Anticipates and balances the needs of multiple stakeholders.
