About The Position

In this role, you will lead and mentor one or more software engineering teams, balancing technical guidance with people development. Requirements

• 5+ years of experience actively managing software engineering teams.
• Proven track record of leading multiple teams in SaaS or startup environments from early-stage growth through scaling.
• Strong knowledge of cloud-native architectures, CI/CD pipelines, and modern web service design.
• Experience collaborating cross-functionally with Product, Design, QA, and DevOps teams.
• Demonstrated success delivering features that drive measurable business outcomes, such as user retention or system reliability.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and mentoring skills.
• Hands-on technical background in languages such as Python, Node.js, or TypeScript is a plus.

Nice To Haves

• Experience building and managing remote or hybrid teams is desirable.
• Familiarity with data-driven decision-making, analytics tooling, or AI/ML-enabled SaaS products is a bonus.

Responsibilities

• Manage the day-to-day operations of one or more software engineering teams, ensuring timely and high-quality delivery.
• Collaborate with Product Management and Design to define requirements, scope, and timelines for platform features and improvements.
• Drive agile processes, including sprint planning and retrospectives, to maintain team focus and velocity.
• Establish goals, KPIs, and metrics to monitor progress, team impact, and software performance.
• Partner with Customer Success and Support to triage production issues and incorporate client feedback.
• Mentor and coach engineers at varying levels, fostering professional growth and autonomy.
• Participate in architectural discussions and long-term technical planning with senior engineering leadership.
• Contribute to hiring and onboarding initiatives while promoting a culture of ownership, experimentation, and accountability.
