About The Position

This role offers the opportunity to lead a dedicated enterprise security engineering team, driving the development and delivery of features that protect sensitive customer data and enable enterprise adoption. You will combine hands-on technical leadership with strategic oversight, setting the roadmap for enterprise security products while shaping team culture and engineering practices. The position requires direct collaboration with product management to prioritize initiatives that impact ARR and deal success, as well as hands-on contribution to production code. You will establish operational excellence and compliance standards while building a high-performing team and defining metrics for adoption and business impact. This is a remote-first, fast-paced environment where innovation, accountability, and technical rigor are essential.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience shipping production code, ideally with Node.js/TypeScript and React or other modern web stacks.
  • 2+ years of engineering leadership experience managing teams of 3+ engineers, with a track record of shipping complex, high-impact products.
  • Prior experience building enterprise security products for CISO and IT admin personas (DLP, SIEM, audit logging, access controls).
  • Strong technical decision-making skills with hands-on coding ability.
  • Outcome-oriented mindset with the ability to define metrics, paths, and goals for ambiguous challenges.
  • Familiarity or interest in integrating AI tools into engineering workflows.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills in a remote-first environment.

Nice To Haves

  • experience with compliance frameworks (SOC2, FedRAMP, GDPR) and enterprise security tooling integrations (Splunk, Microsoft Sentinel).

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the enterprise security engineering team, fostering high performance, accountability, and technical excellence.
  • Drive hands-on development of key enterprise security capabilities, including DLP policy management, SIEM integrations, access controls, and audit logging.
  • Define the identity and roadmap of the enterprise security product area, aligning engineering output with business outcomes such as ARR and deal win rate.
  • Partner closely with product management to prioritize work, make technical trade-offs, and ensure enterprise customer requirements are met.
  • Maintain enterprise-grade operational standards, including uptime, compliance, and audit readiness.
  • Hire, mentor, and develop engineers, fostering growth, cohesion, and a remote-first culture.
  • Establish metrics and accountability frameworks to track team performance, product adoption, and customer trust.
