As an Engineering Manager at Boulevard, you will lead a team of 5-8 talented engineers responsible for building the platform that powers thousands of self-care businesses. This role requires balancing technical leadership with people management, fostering a culture of excellence while delivering impactful products across various domains. It is a product-first role where success is measured by speed, user impact, and strong partnership with Product and Design. You will guide your team through ambiguity, balancing experimentation with engineering rigor to deliver high-quality experiences.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of software development experience with 2+ years of people management.
  • Proven ability to lead and develop engineering teams.
  • Strong technical background with the ability to provide architectural guidance.
  • Experience with agile development and delivery management.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Track record of building inclusive, high-performing teams.
  • Ability to navigate ambiguity and drive clarity for your team.
  • Experience with remote team management and async collaboration.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with experimentation, A/B testing, or product analytics.
  • Background in SaaS, marketplaces, or growth-oriented products.
  • Experience with Elixir, React, or similar technologies.

Responsibilities
