About The Position

This role offers a unique opportunity to lead a highly innovative engineering team focused on developing next-generation client-facing product experiences. The Engineering Manager will drive the vision, strategy, and execution of new product frameworks and emerging technologies across multiple platforms, including iOS, Android, and Web. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional partners in design, product, and other engineering teams to shape scalable solutions that delight users while maintaining technical excellence. The position requires both strategic thinking and hands-on technical expertise, with responsibility for building high-performing teams, fostering innovation, and delivering impactful features. You will be instrumental in pushing technical boundaries, integrating AI capabilities, and enhancing user experiences at scale. The role is remote-eligible in the US and includes opportunities to influence product direction while mentoring engineering talent.

Requirements

  • 9+ years of industry experience with at least 5 years in people management, including managing technical leads.
  • Strong product and design instincts with a track record of delivering compelling consumer experiences.
  • Hands-on experience in iOS, Android, and/or Web frontend development.
  • Proven ability to lead large initiatives with significant business impact.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with experience influencing cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Ability to adapt leadership style to team needs and situational demands.
  • Demonstrated success in developing high-performing, inclusive engineering teams.
  • Strong judgment in prioritizing trade-offs between business needs and long-term technical quality.
  • Experience fostering a culture of operational excellence and raising standards for quality and reliability.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the Client Products & Emerging Tech engineering team, defining vision, priorities, and roadmaps for new product frameworks and features.
  • Collaborate with product, design, and other stakeholders to identify requirements and translate them into scalable technical solutions.
  • Plan, sequence, and oversee the delivery of new features, balancing short-term business needs with long-term technical quality.
  • Drive investments in emerging technologies to enable innovation, including AI-powered tools and frameworks.
  • Build and retain exceptional engineering talent, providing mentorship, career development, and fostering a collaborative, inclusive culture.
  • Partner with peer engineering teams to integrate features across platforms and ensure cross-functional alignment.
  • Promote operational excellence, ensuring high standards for code quality, reliability, and availability.
  • Foster a culture of innovation, calculated risk-taking, and technical creativity to enhance client-facing experiences.
