About The Position

At Club Quarters, our hotels open doors to the world’s most vibrant cities across the U.S. and London. We believe in keeping things simple yet impactful, allowing guests to experience the best of each city while providing our team with opportunities to grow and make a meaningful impact. We are seeking a skilled and service-driven Engineering Maintenance Technician who takes pride in keeping our hotel operating seamlessly. In this role, you’ll ensure every space — from guest rooms to public areas — remains safe, comfortable, and fully functional, supporting an exceptional guest experience behind the scenes. What Sets You Apart: Knowledge of safe handling of power tools. Hands-on experience in electrical work, plumbing, carpentry, and painting/wall covering. Strong troubleshooting skills across HVAC, mechanical, and guest room systems. Ability to communicate clearly and professionally with guests and team members. Strong time-management skills with the ability to prioritize and respond promptly. Calm and confident in emergency situations, with knowledge of fire prevention equipment and procedures. Commitment to safety, efficiency, and operational excellence. How You’ll Make an Impact: Respond to Guest Room Requests: Address maintenance calls from Housekeeping and the Member Service Desk, including light bulb replacement, plumbing repairs, HVAC troubleshooting, TV and phone issues, door lock repairs, and general room upkeep — ensuring timely resolution and guest satisfaction. Maintain Public & Back-of-House Areas: Perform routine repairs and maintenance in front-of-house and back-of-house spaces, including painting, unclogging drains, replacing fixtures, and addressing normal wear and tear. Conduct Equipment Checks: Complete equipment status checklists each shift, ensuring systems operate at proper temperatures and identifying leaks, unusual sounds, or malfunctions. Report concerns and make necessary adjustments. Execute Preventative Maintenance: Carry out preventative maintenance programs as directed, including HVAC filter replacement, valve checks, and routine inspections to ensure long-term operational efficiency. Support Safety & Compliance: Maintain intimate knowledge of fire prevention systems and emergency procedures. Respond promptly to emergencies and assist as needed to protect guests and staff. Ensure Operational Follow-Through: Close the loop on all maintenance requests by notifying appropriate departments once work is completed and leaving service cards in occupied rooms to communicate resolution. Contribute to Team Success: Support special projects and additional duties as directed by the Maintenance Manager to maintain high service standards across the property.
