Position Summary: The Engineering Maintenance Technician 1 will Investigate building systems and document operational data; and prepare recommendations for system improvements, maintenance programs, and evaluations. This work is performed under the Engineering Project Manager's general supervision and under engineers' technical oversight.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 5 years related work experience can be substituted for education on a 2:1 basis.
  • Specific training in the area of expertise (engineering and/or maintenance discipline), such training may be at a vocational or technical school, college, or apprenticeship sponsor organization.
  • Advanced current knowledge of seven specialties listed below, as well as the relevant local, state, federal and regulatory stipulations and codes.
