The team is cross-functional, globally distributed, and creates platforms/products using engineering standards, agile operating models, and DevOps practices. This role, based in Irving, Texas, involves serving as a subject matter expert on reporting and business intelligence (BI) tools to deliver dashboards that enhance business insight, drive process improvements, and reduce risk. The position requires conducting data analysis, addressing operational and regulatory requirements, and translating technology inventory and reference data into actionable backlogs and roadmaps. The Engineering Lead Analyst will drive roadmap delivery through collaboration, engage with clients to prioritize business requirements, and maintain/prioritize backlogs using JIRA, while providing subject matter expertise on the aligned product. A telecommuting/hybrid work schedule may be permitted within a commutable distance from the worksite.

Requirements

10-12 years of relevant experience in an Engineering role
Experience working in Financial Services or a large complex and/or global environment
Project Management experience
Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication
Comprehensive knowledge of design metrics, analytics tools, benchmarking activities and related reporting to identify best practices
Demonstrated analytic/diagnostic skills
Ability to work in a matrix environment and partner with virtual teams
Ability to work independently, prioritize, and take ownership of various parts of a project or initiative
Ability to work under pressure and manage to tight deadlines or unexpected changes in expectations or requirements
Proven track record of operational process change and improvement
Experience as a Product Manager, Data Visualization Engineer, Data Analyst, Data Visualization Engineer Senior Associate, Software Engineer, Applications Development Analyst or related position involving data analysis in a global organization.
4+ years of experience must include SQL and advanced Excel data management
Agile project execution, experience with SDLC and enterprise BI Tools.
At least 5+ years of experience must include Data Visualization, Management, and Warehousing
Bachelor’s degree/University degree or equivalent experience

Responsibilities

Serve as subject matter expert on reporting and business intelligence (BI) tools and align industry-standard processes and methods with business objectives to deliver reporting dashboards that enhance business insight, drive process improvements and reduce risk.
Conduct data analysis using SQL and Excel.
Address operational use cases to manage IT as well as regulatory requirements.
Understand the company’s requirements for technology inventory, reference data, and translate into an actionable backlog and roadmap.
Drive delivery of the roadmap through collaboration with various partnering groups across the company.
Engage with clients and ensure that the business requirements are being appropriately prioritized with appropriate solutions.
Maintain and prioritize backlogs using JIRA, deliver cross team projects, and provide subject matter expertise on the aligned product.
