About The Position

Responsible for assisting the Continuous Improvement Engineer and plant supervisors/managers activities with
data analysis, reporting, and process improvement efforts.

Requirements

• Student at a four-year accredited college or university majoring in Engineering, preferably Industrial.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.
• Highly organized with great attention to detail
• Ability to consistently follow directions and procedures
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
• Excellent written and communication skills
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office

Responsibilities

• Work with the Continuous Improvement Engineer and plant leadership to assist in completing a limited scope Continuous Improvement Project
• Assist with creation of SOPs, job aids, etc. to drive continuous improvement throughout plant
• Conducts research when asked and compiles information
• Prepares documents and presentations for report at meetings regarding data analysis and process improvement efforts
• Identifies, develops, and documents issues and recommendations using independent judgment concerning areas being reviewed.
• Develop a working knowledge of existing Plant processes and Coffee Manufacturing.
• May be asked to perform additional duties as necessary
