About The Position

Job duties will include supporting research and development of next generation semiconductor inspection tools. Opportunities exist for mechanical design projects, development of software for data acquisition and instrument automation, operating and improving test fixtures.

Requirements

  • Requires less than 1 year of related experience

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with software for mechanical design (e.g., CAD)
  • Demonstrated experience with any of the following: optomechanics, vacuum systems, laser alignment, optics, basic machining, electrical design, high-purity gas handling, cleanroom sample handling, materials science
  • Experience with developing software control of hardware using, e.g., LabVIEW, Python, C++
  • Ability to work with and support a diverse team of scientists and engineers
