Job Summary Our Manufacturing Engineer Intern will be assisting Process Engineers with determining the most appropriate and efficient manufacturing processes for newly acquired products as well as improving the manufacturing processes for existing products. This position will be working with our 6-S team to complete specific projects to improve production processes. Job Description The qualified candidate must meet the listed requirements or demonstrate the following skills: - pursuing Engineering degree in either of these areas Manufacturing/ Industrial/Electrical/Mechanical - completed 2 years college curriculum - strong communication skills (written and oral) - ability to read technical drawings - strong computer skills (Microsoft Office software) - experience with AutoCAD and SolidWorks Additional Job Details This position will be involved with designing new components and modifying existing components/motors to fit current and potential customer's applications. Interns previously have been assigned specific projects to research options and design product modifications including the product drawings using AutoCAD or SolidWorks software; laboratory testing techniques and processes, working with production group to improve testing methods. Requirements
