About The Position

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Engineering Intern to support our hardware teams. This internship provides a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in systems engineering, mechanics, software development, and propulsion technologies critical to exploration missions.

Requirements

  • Currently pursuing a degree in Aerospace, Mechanical, Electrical, Software Engineering, or related fields.
  • Strong interest and foundational knowledge in systems engineering, mechanics, software development, or propulsion systems.
  • Self-motivated with a passion for exploration and technological innovation.
  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with CAD, MATLAB, Python, or other relevant programming tools is a plus.
  • Familiarity with control systems, hardware integration, or propulsion technologies is desirable.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in the design, analysis, and testing of space and ocean exploration systems.
  • Contribute to systems engineering processes, including requirements definition and integration.
  • Support the development and testing of mechanical components and mechanisms.
  • Write, test, and refine software for control, data acquisition, and system simulation.
  • Aid in the development and analysis of propulsion systems.
  • Conduct data analysis, simulations, and model testing.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to troubleshoot and optimize system performance.
  • Document experiments, design processes, and project progress.
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute innovative ideas to solve complex technical challenges.
