As an Engineering Intern at RAM Aviation, Space & Defense, you’ll get hands-on experience supporting the development of mission-critical components for space programs. From assembling prototypes in a cleanroom to running qualification tests and assisting with failure analysis, you’ll work side-by-side with experienced engineers to bring new solenoid designs to life. Requirements

  • Must be 18 years old and currently enrolled and working to complete a mechanical engineering degree.
  • Must be able to lift 10-50lbs

Responsibilities

  • Assemble new designs in a cleanroom environment, providing the design engineer with feedback to improve tooling and work instructions.
  • Support the qualification testing effort, performing vibration, thermal and impulse testing.
  • Provide support on the failure analysis process, providing feedback on observations while documenting the teardown with photos.
  • Support the transition from prototype to production.
  • Other duties as assigned.
