Job Description: Receive hands-on training in Creo and Windchill CAD systems. Learn to create 3D models, 2D drawings, and BOMs for manufacturing. Obtain an understanding of mechanical design tolerances, focusing on form, fit, and finish principles. Gain exposure to design considerations, material selection, and functional requirements. Develop an understanding of engineering techniques such as welding and mechanical fastening. Participate in engineering change management and document control processes. Understand the complete design-to-manufacturing engineering workflow.

Requirements

  • Currently enrolled in a college or university pursuing a degree in Manufacturing, Engineering, Operations, or a related technical field.
  • Completion of at least one year of coursework is preferred
  • Ability to read simple technical drawings or work instructions
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office
  • Final Presentation

Responsibilities

  • Receive hands-on training in Creo and Windchill CAD systems.

  • Deliver a 5–10-minute presentation to the team summarizing their experience.
  • Provide an overview of the projects and tasks completed
  • Share key skills and knowledge gained throughout the internship
  • Explain challenges encountered and how they were addressed
  • Give recommendations or insights for future improvements
