About The Position
MTS is looking for a hands-on Mechanical Engineer in training to join our team for the summer of 2026. You will be a critical part of a team working on the design, development, and testing of complex electro-mechanical components and systems. This role is a good fit for a developing engineering building skills with mechanical design, system integration, and materials testing. This full-time, temporary position is located on-site at our Westerville, Ohio facility.
Requirements
- Pursuing an Engineering Degree or equivalent
- Good verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
- Eager to learn, with a proactive and positive attitude
- Work in a team and independently
- Must be able to work onsite at our Westerville, Ohio location
Nice To Haves
- Experience with SolidWorks or similar CAD systems
- Knowledge of machine design, structural mechanics, and materials science
