About The Position

BWP’s Compression Engineering department is seeking a summer engineering intern. Throughout the course of the summer, the candidate will support initiatives aimed at improving reliability across compression assets. The intern will assist in developing and refining specifications and standards to ensure consistent practices. Additionally, the role will involve engaging with field locations to gather insights and help implement best practices that enhance operational performance.

Requirements

  • Passing grade in the following courses: Fluid Mechanics, Calculus II, and Physics
  • Strong mathematical skills and experience utilizing Microsoft excel to perform calculations
  • Majoring in an engineering discipline: mechanical, chemical, electrical etc.

Nice To Haves

  • Preferred candidate would be either in their junior or senior year of current engineering program
  • Previous experience in the natural gas industry
