Position Overview This position entails a hands-on learning experience in the Seating Application Engineering Team as a summer intern . General support for Seating Application Engineering Team for development and launching programs.
Requirements

- High School Diploma
- Currently Attending a College or University
- Strong communication skills: verbal, written, and presentations.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to successfully complete multiple tasks within established and changing deadlines.
- Knowledge with Microsoft Office programs including PowerPoint, Excel, Word , and Outlook
- Normal amount of sitting or standing, average mobility to move around an office environment, able to conduct normal amount of work at a computer
Nice To Haves
- Engineering / Technical related field of study is a plus
Responsibilities
- Assist Product Engineers with miscellaneous tasks including problem solving and root causing of issues and concerns
- Generally hands-on tasks including occasional seat assembly and disassembly, running trials of parts and solutions, seat testing and evaluation
- Some running of parts from one location to another in the metropolitan area (mileage reimbursed)
- Primarily based in our Novi location but may involve assistance with tasks at Magna Seating Auburn Hills
- Possible assistance with computer related tasks such as reports and studies
