Project Overview Join the Intuition NMS team and help improve the resiliency of a large‑scale, cloud‑native network management system used by satellite operators worldwide. You will build Python automation that triggers controlled Kubernetes pod failures, measures service recovery (RPO/RTO), and generates insights that directly enhance product reliability. Your work will create a repeatable, automated resiliency testing framework used across the engineering team to validate system behavior under real‑world failure conditions. About the Team NMS QA ensures the quality and reliability of Intuition NMS—a modern microservices platform that provides real‑time monitoring and automation for satellite networks worldwide. This internship offers practical experience with distributed systems and cloud technologies used to support mission-critical operations.

Requirements

  • Strong Python scripting/automation skills
  • Basic Kubernetes knowledge (pods, deployments, kubectl)
  • Linux CLI familiarity
  • Ability to analyze logs and system behavior

Nice To Haves

  • Prometheus or Grafana experience
  • Understanding of microservices or distributed systems
  • Basic knowledge of Postgres

Responsibilities

  • Build Python automation to simulate pod failures in Kubernetes.
  • Measure and analyze service recovery (RPO/RTO).
  • Generate load, collect metrics, and produce resiliency findings for NMS components.
