Samsung Electronics America, Inc. is now accepting applications for its Summer 2026 Intern Program. This exciting opportunity offers a paid, 10-week experience for selected senior or recently graduated students. The program will run from June 1 to August 7. Eligible students will be seniors or recent graduates, possess U.S. work authorization, and be able to work full-time on a 5-day-per-week on-site schedule. Additionally, participation in this program requires that you be located in the United States for the duration of the engagement. Applications will be reviewed on a rolling basis, so early submission is encouraged. The application window is open until March 15, 2026; however, it may close earlier if all available roles are filled. We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Engineering Intern to join our RAN (Radio Access Network) Virtualization team at Samsung. Requirements

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
  • Strong capability to work autonomously while effectively collaborating with peers and team members.
  • Proactive in seeking clarity by asking questions about project objectives, goals, and deliverables.
  • Proficient in managing time to assess requirements and create realistic timelines for project completion.
  • Exhibits reliability and problem-solving skills with minimal supervision.
  • Basic knowledge of network systems and high-level call flow processes.
  • Rudimentary understanding of wireless systems, particularly in call processing or network management.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Spark, R, SQL, Hive, JavaScript, Node, or C++.
  • Familiarity with data visualization tools like Power BI or Tableau.
  • Experience with software based automation preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in the design and implementation of virtualization solutions for RAN infrastructure.
  • Conduct research and analysis to support the development of virtualized network architectures.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot and optimize virtualization performance.
  • Document technical processes and contribute to knowledge sharing within the team.
  • Support testing and validation of virtualization technologies to ensure reliability and scalability.
  • Implement automation initiatives that optimize internal processes.
