About The Position

The Village of Ashwaubenon Public Works, Engineering, Building Inspection, Water / Sewer, & GIS Departments are jointly looking for an individual to fill a Engineering/GIS Aide position. Essential Functions: Job duties vary greatly & most will be acquired/taught. They include and are not limited to; Data entry, Geographic Information Systems (GIS), filing, large format scanning, taking photographs, running errands, assisting with special projects & proposals, etc. This position reports to the Village of Ashwaubenon GIS Coordinator. Position Hourly Rate (2026): $16.95/hr Qualified applicants should possess the following: Strong organization skills Ability to be detail oriented Ability to work independently and self-starter Knowledge and experience with Microsoft Word and Excel General knowledge of computers Minimum Experience, Education, and Training: High school student interested in pursuing or currently enrolled in a degree program in Geographic Information Systems, Geography, Civil Engineering, Environmental Science, or a related field. Possess a valid Wisconsin Driver's license with a good driving record. Work Schedule: School year: 5 to 10 hours per week on a flexible basis. To be worked between the hours of 7:30am - 4:30pm Monday - Thursday or Friday between 7:30am - 11:00am. Summer Months: 37.5 hours per week. Monday through Thursday 7:30am - 4:30pm and Friday 7:30am - 11:00am. No nights, weekends, or holidays are required.
