About The Position
Under general supervision, prepare multi-discipline engineering drawings used for contract bidding and construction using computer aided drafting and design (CADD) tools; reviews drawings for conformance with District CADD standards; supports project managers and project engineers in setting and meeting schedules for project deliverables; and supervises subordinate draftsmen.
Requirements
- Possession of an associate degree in computer aided drafting and design (CADD) in the Architectural/Engineering/Construction (AEC) discipline and three years of drafting experience in support of professional architects or engineers, which must include the use of computer-aided drafting and design equipment and software.
- Substitution: Computer aided drafting and design (CADD) experience in support of professional architects or engineers may be substituted for the required education on a year-for-year basis.
