Engineering Development Program
About The Position
This is a Rotational Development Program for the next generation of Engineers within FLS, designed to foster business acumen as well as a deep understanding of the products for both the design and product development groups. The program is structured to provide participants with comprehensive exposure to various aspects of engineering and manufacturing processes. Participants will rotate through different departments, including Product Development, Design Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Quality Assurance, and Project Management. Each rotation lasts approximately 6 months, allowing participants to develop a deep understanding of specific functions and their contributions to the company’s success. Upon successful completion of the program, participants will have the opportunity to be placed in permanent roles within the Product Development or Design Engineering teams, based on their skills, interests, and business needs. Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Materials Science, or a related field.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- A proactive and results-oriented mindset.
- Willingness to relocate for different rotations within the program.
Nice To Haves
- Previous internship or co-op experience in a related field is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support engineering projects.
- Assist in the design, development, and testing of new products.
- Analyze and solve technical problems using engineering principles and methodologies.
- Participate in the development of manufacturing processes and quality control measures.
- Support project management activities, including planning, execution, and monitoring.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the engineering departments.
