About The Position

Additional information can be found at www.ttm.com Scope: The CAM Operator will inspect the production data released by the CAD Technicians to verify that all manufacturing processes and quality requirements are adhered.

Requirements

  • Understand and interpret blueprints, blueprint tolerances, and customer and industry specifications.
  • Basic knowledge of Rout or have worked as a Rout Technician preferred.
  • Attention to detail is a must.
  • Basic computer knowledge in a Windows environment.
  • Must be able to work on a computer up to 10 hours per day.
  • Be able to sit for long period time without discomfort
  • Due to ITAR requirements, applicants must be a U.S. Citizen or a Permanent Resident.
  • Regular attendance is an essential job function of this position
  • High school diploma or GED is required.
  • Must comply with TTM Export Control Policies and Procedures and all applicable laws including ITAR, EAR and OFAC including but not limited to: a) being able to identify ITAR product on the manufacturing floor and understand that access to these products and related technical data is restricted to only US Citizens and US Permanent Residents; b) recognition of Foreign Person visitors by badge differentiation; c) understand and follow authorization procedures for bringing foreign visitors into facilities (VAL); d) understand the Export and ITAR requirements for shipments leaving the US; e) manage vendor approvals for ITAR manufacturing and services.

Nice To Haves

  • Associates Degree in CAD/CAM or equivalent experience preferred.
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience as CAD/CAM operator in a manufacturing or design environment preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Review the electronic production data to the Shop Folder for process flow and data requirements.
  • Review the electronic production data to the Shop Folder, Blueprints, and required specifications for adherence to all quality and customer requirements.
  • Create the production artwork, NC-drill, NC-rout, and other tools used by the Manufacturing and Quality Departments.
  • The individual will interact with the Cad Technicians, QP Engineers, Product, Engineers, Process Engineers, and area Supervisors to resolve process and quality questions.
  • Record and submit quality records for departmental Continuous Improvement Program.
