THE WORK You will be responsible for providing the Lockheed Martin site manager located at the Aegis Test Team in Pascagoula, with project and manpower planning support, budget implementation, monitoring support, administrative functions, and office support management. Requirements

  • Experience with Microsoft Office products including; Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Experience in financial management concepts such as budget planning, resource planning, cost and schedule variance analysis, etc.
  • Attention to detail, ability to multitask in a fast paced environment and work with minimal supervision.
  • Some travel may be required
  • Work will be conducted at Naval bases, shipyards, and other facilities. The ability to work in an industrial environment and shipboard where access if often by stairs, ladders, and in confined spaces, is required.
  • Occasionally underway shipboard support may be required underway for up to one week at a time.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a US DoD Secret security clearance
  • US Citizenship is required.
  • You must be able to obtain a DoD Interim Secret Security Clearance prior to starting this position.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor's Degree in related discipline (business/economics/engineering)
  • Related work experience in earned value management
  • Experience with data analysis, budget planning, and manpower knowledge.
  • Familiar with earn value management (EVM) terms such as ACWP, BCWS, BCWP, ETC, EAC
  • Knowledge of control account manager (CAM) responsibilities

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain manpower and budget plans
  • Support site manager with cost and schedule variance analysis
  • Support site manager in conduct of monthly financial reviews
  • Assist site manager with weekly and monthly activity and status reports
  • Assist site manager with weekly and monthly presentations support.
  • Support site manager with control account manager (CAM) responsibilities
  • Support senior engineer planner
  • Provide on-site coordination for visit requests, travel requests, and security clearances.
