About The Position

Axcelis is seeking a Warehouse Operations co-op to support our Operations Technology team in continuous improvement implementation, operational analysis and optimization within Axcelis’ state-of-the-art warehousing and logistics center. This role offers hands-on experience at the intersection of manufacturing logistics, technology, and data-driven decision-making. The ideal candidate is an engineering student with industrial engineering and some software experience who is eager to apply their skills in a manufacturing logistics and operations-focused environment.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in mechanical, industrial Engineering or a related field.
• Interest in manufacturing operations, process improvement, and technology integration.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with databases (SQL).
• Familiarity with data analysis tools: Python, PowerBI, Advanced Excel
• Understanding of data visualization and analysis techniques.

Responsibilities

• Assist in implementing and sustaining operations processes to improve logistics, applied labor, and manufacturing quality.
• Document and Train operators on custom applications introduced to streamline operations.
• Analyze operational data and contribute to process optimization initiatives.
• Work closely with engineering, production, and IT teams to solve real-world manufacturing challenges.
• Document findings and provide recommendations for efficiency improvements.
