About The Position

The Engineering Co‑Op will support the Philadelphia Engineering team across a wide range of technical projects within Process Engineering, Project Engineering, and Reliability Engineering. This role offers hands‑on experience in a fast‑paced pharmaceutical manufacturing environment, providing opportunities to contribute to meaningful operational improvements and real‑world engineering challenges. Local candidates in the Philadelphia tri‑state area are strongly preferred.

Requirements

  • Actively pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, or a related field.
  • Strong college‑level mathematical skills.
  • Intermediate computer proficiency, with the ability to perform complex tasks using various software programs.
  • Full professional proficiency in speaking, reading, and writing in English.
  • High-level reasoning skills, including the ability to:
  • Define problems
  • Collect and analyze data
  • Establish facts
  • Draw valid conclusions
  • Interpret complex technical instructions, diagrams, and variable conditions

Responsibilities

  • Support product launches by drafting and executing engineering test protocols.
  • Draft and execute change documentation.
  • Develop equipment setup sheets, rapid changeover guides, troubleshooting guides, and standard work documents.
  • Assist with equipment troubleshooting and performance‑improvement initiatives.
  • Support equipment commissioning projects.
  • Maintain and enhance Engineering technical databases and internal tools.
  • Provide production support, including hands‑on work with packaging equipment.
  • Adhere to all PCI, cGMP, and GCP policies, procedures, and safety standards.
  • Maintain reliable and consistent attendance.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Manager/Supervisor.
