About The Position

Position Purpose: Position will work as part of the Manufacturing Engineering department in support of the forging, machining and automation operations.  This position will also work closely with the tool and die area to determine and implement process improvements. Essential Functions: Work on CAD drawings to support forging and machining operations, including die maintenance. Assist with continuous improvement projects Assist with day to day maintenance repairs and PMs Education and Training Enrolled student working toward a Bachelor’s degree in Industrial, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering Minimum Qualifications Strong mathematical and analytical skills Must know CAD/Creo Strong systems and PC skills Self-motivated and willing to learn Physical Demands The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Position will also work at times in an office environment. Environmental Conditions This job operates in a manufacturing environment. The employee is frequently exposed to industrial noise, as well as temperatures common in a non-climate controlled facility. This role routinely uses standard office equipment.
