The selected individual will be responsible for but not limited to the following obligations:

Requirements

• Field of study: mechanical or manufacturing engineering or related fields.
• Solid verbal and written communication skills are required, PC and AutoCAD skills preferred.
• Candidate must have ability to define problems and interpret a variety of technical instructions.
• Must have solid organizational skills and be able to work on multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Eligible candidates must be a: U.S. citizen, U.S. national, person lawfully admitted for permanent residence, temporary resident under sections 210(a) or 245(A) of the Immigration and Nationality Act, person admitted in refugee status, or person granted asylum.

Nice To Haves

• Previous experience in fast-paced, competitive engineering and manufacturing environment a plus.

Responsibilities

• Create and develop processes and tools to assist in the fabrication of composite honeycomb details, sub-assemblies, and assemblies.
• Coordinate tooling fabrication to Hexcel standards with both internal and external suppliers.
• Active member of continuous improvement team to meet the plant’s production and quality goals.
• Demonstrate the ability to cooperate, work and communicate with co-workers, supervisors and subordinates and/or outside contacts and customers.
• Perform problem solving and data gathering activities supporting DCR/MRR (Document Change Request/Material Rejection Report) resolution.
