Engineering Co-Op Student (Manufacturing)
About The Position
Support Operations and Manufacturing Engineering teams through flexible and active engagement in a variety of hands-on activities Complete engineering assignments associated with process changes and improvements. Participate in team discussions, offering a unique viewpoint based on knowledge and experience Take an active role in projects becoming familiar with engineering tools and ZF LIFETEC procedures and processes May prepare simple technical documentation or reports to assist with ongoing engineering projects Prepare engaging presentations, summaries and/or process briefs to share with the cross-functional team and Engineering and Operations Management
Requirements
- Demonstrated working knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially MS Excel, Word and Powerpoint
- Experience taking an active role in group activities
- Understand engineering fundamentals and methods
- Hands-on approach
- Self-motivated and engaged in every activity
- Currently pursuing Engineering degree with GPA minumum of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale
- ZF LIFETEC Mesa Operations screening process includes a substance abuse screening test, ATF lifetime background check, and verification of eligibility for employment.
- U.S. Citizen or U.S. Permanent Resident Status Required.
