The Cloud Platform team, part of Core Engineering, is responsible for enabling the firm's use of public cloud services. This multi-disciplinary team researches, architects, and builds a cutting-edge platform for deploying and managing services in the public cloud safely and securely. As the firm modernizes services around cloud-native principles, the Associate will contribute directly to a platform that programmatically enforces safety, security, and compliance, enabling engineers to innovate faster. Requirements

Bachelors/Masters degree in in Computer Science or equivalent professional work experience.
Proficiency in programming languages like Java
Experience in developing and deploying applications onto public cloud provider preferably AWS
Experience in leveraging Developer AI tools
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, a team-oriented mindset, and a self-directed, energetic, and self-motivated approach to work

Responsibilities

Design, develop, test, and deploy scalable and resilient cloud-native applications, ensuring high quality and performance.
Assist in migrating existing on-premise applications and infrastructure to cloud environments.
Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code; actively participate in code reviews and contribute to architectural and design discussions.
Analyze existing software implementations, identify areas for improvement, troubleshoot complex issues, and optimize system performance.
Implement and manage continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines, and contribute to infrastructure as code (IaC) initiatives.
Work closely with global cross-functional teams, including product owners and stakeholders, to translate business requirements into technical solutions and deliver customer-centric products.
Manage multiple development tasks, prioritize effectively, and provide accurate estimates for feature implementation and project delivery.
