About The Position

CTG is seeking to fill a Platform Engineer – Cloud Platforms position for our client. Location: Remote Duration: 2 years Duties: Design, build, and operate scalable, secure, and highly available cloud platform services supporting engineering and analytics teams Develop and maintain infrastructure-as-code (IaC) solutions to enable consistent and repeatable cloud deployments Build and enhance CI/CD pipelines to support automated application and platform delivery Partner with application teams, data engineers, security, and enterprise architects to deliver standardized self-service infrastructure capabilities Implement and enforce cloud best practices across identity and access management (IAM), networking, security, and compliance controls Monitor platform health, performance, and cost efficiency; drive optimization initiatives across cloud resources Design and implement observability solutions including logging, metrics, tracing, and alerting for production workloads Support incident response, root cause analysis, and operational readiness activities Continuously improve platform reliability, scalability, and developer experience through automation and standardization Contribute to cloud governance, architectural standards, and platform roadmaps Skills: Strong experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, and/or GCP) Proficiency in infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or ARM templates Experience building and managing CI/CD pipelines (e.g., GitHub Actions, Jenkins, Azure DevOps) Strong understanding of containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes) Knowledge of networking, IAM, and cloud security best practices Experience with observability tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack, CloudWatch, Azure Monitor) Strong automation and scripting skills (Python, Bash, or similar) Familiarity with DevOps and Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) principles Strong problem-solving skills and ability to operate in complex distributed systems environments Experience: Proven experience designing and operating cloud-native platforms in production environments Experience supporting enterprise-scale infrastructure and mission-critical workloads Demonstrated experience with automation, CI/CD, and infrastructure-as-code practices Experience collaborating across cross-functional engineering, security, and architecture teams Education: Bachelor's Degree Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group are required. Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, market factors, and where applicable, licensure or certifications obtained. Requirements

  • Strong experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, and/or GCP)
