About The Position

About this role: Wells Fargo is seeking an Engineering Associate – Systems & Cloud Migration to join the Home Lending Technology (HLT) / Customer Experience & Servicing Solutions (CxSS) organization within Consumer Technology. As part of a collaborative engineering team, you will assist with application modernization, data migration, and cloud platform enablement, working across .NET services, Azure infrastructure, and SQL‑based data stores. This role provides hands‑on exposure to enterprise software engineering, cloud technologies, and modern DevOps practices in support of one of the most visible Home Lending Technology programs of the year. This is an excellent opportunity for early‑career engineers interested in .NET development, cloud migration, and modern application architectures, with additional opportunities to explore GenAI‑enabled enhancements as the platform evolves. Requirements

  • 6+ months of Technology Engineering and Solutions experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
  • The selected candidate for this role must be able to begin employment by March 18, 2026, in a fulltime capacity.
  • This position is required to work from the designated posted office location and must be able to meet all expectations of the current hybrid work schedule, including regular in office attendance as defined by the team and program requirements.
  • Relocation assistance is not provided for this role.
  • This position is not eligible for Visa sponsorship.

Nice To Haves

  • 6+ months of experience using .NET Framework and/or modern .NET, gained through academic projects, professional work, or hands-on coding assignments.
  • Exposure to Microsoft Azure services and cloud‑based application concepts.
  • Familiarity with SQL and relational database concepts.
  • Experience or interest in data migration or system modernization initiatives.
  • Exposure to Microsoft Dynamics (on‑prem or Dynamics 365) preferred.
  • Familiarity with containerized or cloud platforms such as OpenShift is a plus.
  • Understanding of software development fundamentals, including version control, testing, and deployment practices.
  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Ability to communicate clearly, learn quickly, and work effectively in a team‑based engineering environment.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with the migration of a custom Microsoft Dynamics CRM application from on‑premise infrastructure to Dynamics 365 in Azure.
  • Support software engineering activities across the application stack, including .NET services, integrations, and SQL‑based data components.
  • Participate in data migration efforts, helping validate data integrity, completeness, and performance during cloud transitions.
  • Collaborate with senior engineers on modernizing legacy components, improving scalability, reliability, and cloud readiness.
  • Contribute to development, configuration, and deployment activities across Azure and OpenShift cloud platforms.
  • Assist with testing, troubleshooting, and issue resolution related to application behavior, integrations, and data flows.
  • Support automation and DevOps practices, including build, deployment, and environment configuration workflows.
  • Document technical designs, migration steps, and operational procedures in accordance with engineering standards.
  • Learn and apply Wells Fargo engineering, risk, security, and compliance practices within a regulated environment.
  • Partner with cross‑functional teams across technology, architecture, and business to support project milestones and delivery goals.
  • Actively engage in the two-year CODE Program, including participation in training, mentorship, networking events, and career development activities.
