About The Position

SEMCO Energy is seeking an Engineering Analyst to document, analyze, and improve core project management and engineering processes. This role is ideal for a curious, analytical self-starter who enjoys understanding how work gets done and turning complexity into clear, scalable processes. What You’ll Do Document and improve engineering and project management processes across all types of capital stakeholders Identify gaps and design improved workflows that support efficiency and stakeholder experience Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to understand processes and recommend improvements Maintain clear, up-to-date process documentation to support continuity and compliance Collaborate with SEMCO Energy and Washington Gas teams to identify shared opportunities Participate in departmental planning and the monthly reporting process by collecting and monitoring actual performance data against prepared forecasts Perform data analysis to support company objectives, resource optimization, and annual reporting Lead small engineering or integrity projects or support large capital or O&M projects or programs What We’re Looking For 5+ years of experience in business process analysis, operations, project scheduling, cost estimating, project management or other closely related field. Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, IT, Accounting, Finance, Business, Mathematics or other closely related field Experience with enterprise financial, risk management, project management skills Strong analytical, documentation, and problem-solving skills Ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders Continuous improvement experience and application Why Join Us? We offer a competitive salary range of $83,200 to $120,550 per year, commensurate with experience, education, and skills. Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in business process analysis, operations, project scheduling, cost estimating, project management or other closely related field.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, IT, Accounting, Finance, Business, Mathematics or other closely related field
  • Experience with enterprise financial, risk management, project management skills
  • Strong analytical, documentation, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders
  • Continuous improvement experience and application
