About The Position

Position Details: Industry Manufacturing Work Location East Peoria IL 61611 Job Title Engineer Duration 1 Year (Strong possibility of extension) Job Description: Research and investigate the design, functionality and maintenance of mechanical products, equipment, systems and processes. Typical Day Research, design, develops, manufacture, and test tools, engines, machines and other mechanical devices. Research and analyze customer design proposals, specifications, and manuals to determine time and cost feasibility to complete projects. Assist drafters in developing the structural design of products using tools, equipment or software. Working hours: flexible, core hours 9-3.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in engineering required.
5 to 7 engineering experience required.
CadetWin & Cadet.
CANape.
MS Office (Word and Excel).
Heavy Equipment Operation.
Experience with Basic electronic testing using Digital Volt/Ohm Meters, Digital Oscilloscopes, and Function Generators
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawing, schematics and computer-generated reports.
Previous experience with computer applications and software related to engineering field.
Hands on mechanical work and control development background.
Ability to work independently is a key.
Creativity, Verbal and written communication skills, Analytical and problem solving ability. Team player and detail oriented.
Ability to make sketches, engineering drawings and common computations.

Nice To Haves

Ideal candidate will have a background with farming experience.
