Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in an engineering, Mechanical or Electrical preferred.
  • 2 years experience in related field

Responsibilities

  • Support and optimize SanDisk's refurbish process-related activities to ensure maximum efficiency and quality.
  • Monitor and analyze product yields, identifying areas for improvement and implementing solutions.
  • Develop and maintain testing equipment maintenance plans to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime.
  • Lead process improvement initiatives, utilizing Lean Six Sigma methodologies to enhance operational efficiency.
  • Qualify new processes and equipment, ensuring they meet company standards and industry regulations.
  • Provide comprehensive training on new processes and technologies to team members and relevant stakeholders.
  • Oversee the implementation of New Product Introduction (NPI) processes, ensuring smooth integration into existing operations.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve technical issues and drive continuous improvement.
  • Develop and maintain documentation for processes, procedures, and technical specifications.
  • Analyze data and prepare reports on process performance, equipment efficiency, and quality metrics.
  • Participate in project planning and execution, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and timelines.
  • Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies, recommending innovations for process enhancement.
  • Mentor junior engineers and technicians, fostering a culture of knowledge sharing and professional development.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and environmental standards in all engineering activities.
  • Contribute to cost reduction efforts through process optimization and resource management.
