About The Position

Akkodis is seeking an Engineer for a Contract with a client in Seattle, WA. The ideal candidate will design and deploy Amazon Connect contact center solutions while optimizing call flows and IVRs for seamless customer experiences. Rate Range: $53/hour to $64/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 5-8 years of experience in designing and implementing contact center solutions, with at least 3+ years in Amazon Connect.
• Strong expertise in configuring Amazon Connect, including IVRs, call flows, routing profiles, and integration with AWS services (Lambda, Lex, DynamoDB, S3, Kinesis).
• Proven experience in developing chatbots/voice bots, optimizing call flows, and implementing analytics using AWS Contact Lens and Connect Insights.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy Amazon Connect contact center solutions tailored to business requirements.
• Configure and customize call flows, IVRs, routing profiles, queues, and agent hierarchies for optimal customer experience.
• Integrate Amazon Connect with AWS services such as Lambda, Lex, DynamoDB, S3, and Kinesis to enable automation and scalability.
• Develop and maintain chatbots and voice bots using AWS Lex and Lambda for enhanced self-service capabilities.
• Optimize call flows and implement analytics using AWS Contact Lens and Amazon Connect Insights for performance monitoring.
• Troubleshoot and resolve telephony, latency, and call quality issues, ensuring security, compliance, and reliability.
