About The Position

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Maintenance Technician/ Engineer to join our team. This role is responsible for the maintenance, repair, and overall functionality of the property’s facilities, systems, and equipment. The ideal candidate is hands-on, detail-oriented, and takes pride in ensuring a safe, efficient, and well-maintained environment for guests and team members.

Requirements

2+ years of experience in facilities maintenance, engineering, or a related field (hospitality experience preferred)
Working knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and general building systems
Ability to troubleshoot and repair a wide range of maintenance issues
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed
Physical ability to lift, carry, and move equipment (up to 50 lbs), climb ladders, and work in various conditions

Responsibilities

Perform routine maintenance and repairs on mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems
Conduct daily inspections of facilities, equipment, and grounds to ensure proper operation
Respond promptly to maintenance requests from guests and staff
Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to building systems and equipment
Assist with preventative maintenance programs to extend the life of property assets
Maintain accurate logs of work performed, inspections, and repairs
Ensure compliance with safety standards, building codes, and company policies
Support setup and breakdown for events, including lighting, sound, and equipment needs
Coordinate with external vendors and contractors when needed
Maintain cleanliness and organization of maintenance areas and tools
