As an Engineer within our Transmission Planning team at Oncor, you’ll perform engineering studies of Oncor’s transmission system in the areas of dynamic stability, steady-state power flow, electromagnetic transients (EMT), small signal stability, and other technical studies essential for the reliable and optimized operation of the Oncor transmission system. This role is also critical in the development of transmission plans and Electric Reliability Council of Texas (ERCOT) Regional Planning Group submittals, ensuring compliance with North America Electric Reliability Corporation (NERC) and ERCOT requirements. This role will leverage knowledge in electrical transmission planning and the application of advanced grid technologies to assess grid performance and prepare the system for future challenges, including load growth, plant retirements, and renewable integration. This is a hybrid position, with 3 office days minimum, based in our 777 Main St – Fort Worth location. We are considering applicants with multiple experience levels and skills.
