The Transmission System Planning (TSP) department is responsible for: Conducting interconnection studies and multi-year assessments. Developing transmission expansion plans to ensure safe and reliable electric service. Adhering to NERC and WECC planning standards. Participating in the development of reliability standards and transmission expansion policy. Supporting various internal departments such as operations, law, and contracts. . This position is represented by the Engineers and Scientists of California (ESC) subject to collective bargaining. The Senior Transmission Planning is responsible for providing technical, planning and project implementation support for transmission, substation, and distribution systems. The responsibility level of this position increases with experience and demonstrated ability. This position is hybrid, working from your remote office and your assigned work location based on business need. The a ssigned work location will be within the PG&E Service Territory. PG&E is providing the salary range that the company in good faith believes it might pay for this position at the time of the job posting. This compensation range is specific to the locality of the job. The actual salary paid to an individual will be based on multiple factors, including, but not limited to, specific skills, education, licenses or certifications, experience, market value, geographic location, collective bargaining agreements, and internal equity. The salary range is: CA Minimum, $153,828 CA Maximum, $197,628
