About The Position

We are seeking an AI Engineer to design and implement AI solutions, in collaboration with staff across Celestica’s Hardware Platform Solutions organization. You will be involved in the entire development lifecycle, from concept to deployment working closely with senior team members.

Architect AI Solutions: High-level design and architecture of complex AI projects, ensuring they are scalable, efficient, and aligned with business objectives. 

Build AI Systems: Construct and deploy agentic AI solutions and AI models at the edge.

Research new AI solutions: Create proof of concepts and develop new and innovative solutions to satisfy the needs of the business.

Requirements

• Applied AI Model Theory: A good understanding of the theoretical base and practical applications of modern AI models, including LLMs, LRMs, RAG, Vector Databases, and inference platforms (e.g., vLLM, TensorRT).
• Agentic AI Expertise: A good understanding of how to build and deploy complex AI agents using frameworks like LangChain or LangGraph. Knowledge of how AI agents communicate and operate (e.g., MCP and A2A).
• Coding Skills: Good knowledge of Python and a strong familiarity with other programming languages (e.g., C++, Java, Rust, Go).

Nice To Haves

• Cloud AI Deployments: Expertise deploying and managing AI/ML workloads on major cloud platforms (e.g., Azure AI, Google Vertex AI). Familiarity with containerization and orchestration technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.
• Traditional Machine Learning: Experience with MLOps principles, including CI/CD for machine learning, AI model monitoring and deployment, and versioning.
