About The Position

We are seeking an experienced Information Technologist to support the modernization of software product development through advanced DevSecOps practices. This role involves working with state‑of‑the-art tools and methodologies—continuous build, integration, testing, deployment, cybersecurity, and metrics—to deliver highly reliable, production-ready solutions.
The ideal candidate thrives in collaborative, multidisciplinary teams and excels in an Agile development environment. This position offers exposure to diverse engineering groups, cutting‑edge tools, and meaningful technical challenges.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a STEM field and 14+ years of relevant software engineering experience involving Agile methodologies
• OR Master’s degree and 12+ years of related experience
• OR PhD and 9+ years of related experience
• Experience using peer review tools (e.g., Atlassian Crucible)
• Proficiency in at least one object‑oriented programming language (Java, JavaScript, C, C#, Python, Swift, etc.)
• Experience with at least one change-management/tracking tool (e.g., Jira, ClearQuest, Asana)
• Experience with continuous integration tools (Bamboo, Jenkins, GitLab, etc.)
• Experience with configuration management systems (Git, GitLab, Bitbucket, Subversion)

Nice To Haves

• Cloud-related certifications at the architect level (AWS, VMware, Azure, Kubernetes)
• Experience applying AI techniques to enhance peer review quality
• Experience designing large-scale cloud architectures
• Active Secret clearance with the ability to obtain/maintain Top Secret
• Current SAP access

Responsibilities

• Perform trade studies and evaluate solution alternatives for replacing legacy peer review products
• Lead cross-functional teams through prototyping efforts and alignment with key stakeholders
• Develop and implement production-ready replacements for retiring tools
• Define transition paths and guide teams through tool adoption and integration
