About the team and the role: eBay, Inc. seeks Software Engineer 3 in San Jose, CA What you will accomplish: Job Duties: Build robust and scalable software, help improve eBay's code services and system architecture, participate in brainstorming sessions and supply ideas to our technology, algorithms and products, and work with the product and design teams to understand end-user requirements, formulate use cases, and deliver results. Estimate software engineering efforts, prioritize projects, plan implementations, and triage production issues. Improve existing software products and develop distributed software systems powering the world's largest e-commerce websites. Convert abstract concepts into viable products using Computer Science fundamentals. Aggregate information from various places and build relationships with key partners to get the information needed. Use data to frame out and solve technical problems. Partial telecommuting permitted from within a commutable distance. What you will bring:

Requirements

  • Master’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, Engineering (any), or a closely related field.
  • Java spring framework
  • Javascript programming
